We thrive on experimentation and our beer selection changes often. Check out our current offerings below.
Our flagship IPA brewed with Citra, Mosaic, and El Dorado hops atop a bed of 2-row, oats and wheat. Lush with tropical and stone fruit flavors and aromas.
This sour ale brewed with lactose and conditioned on blackberries for a fresh fruit smoothie sensation.
A clean German-style Pilsner brewed with pilsner and 2-row malts, and dry-hopped with Cascade for a refreshing citrusy twist on a classic. It’s light-bodied with a rich grain character. Crisp and crushable.
An imperial stout conditioned on wood oven toasted coconut and hand-toasted marshmallows that we aged in a freshly emptied Ghost Coast Distillery whiskey barrel.
Medium bodied Double Dry-Hopped DIPA that’s a full expression of saturated hop flavor. A ton of hops were added late in the kettle process with huge dry-hop additions. Huge notes of orange rind, zippy citrus and pine nettles.
A thoughtfully crafted Low-Country Rice Lager brewed with Carolina Gold Rice and a blend of old school lager hops. Crisp and light with all the flavors.
A juicy IPA with hefty notes of stone fruit and tropical goodness derived from Mosaic and Sabro-Cryo hops.
REFRESH MY MEMORY
This single hop IPA brewed with Motueka hops is one of the oldest recipes in James' repertoire. Balanced old school hoppiness with loads of citrus and dank resins.
A hazy Brett IPA that we fermented with a single mega-fruity strain of brettanomyces. Exploding with intense tropical fruit and extra-ripe pineapple. Crushed with Citra, Wai-iti, and Simcoe.
An imperial stout aged on wood oven toasted cocoa nibs (toasting thanks Big Bon Bodega) and a custom coffee roast from Cup to Cup Cafe. It’s rich and toasty. If you’ve yet to have the pleasure of meeting her, Ms. Suzanne is our neighbor directly across from the brewery on 41st street. She’s a retired SCAD professor and an incredibly talented artist. She’s been a great neighbor and puts up with our shenanigans, so we brewed a beer to say thanks. She enjoys very dark, strong, rich, and dry beers, so that’s what we brewed, just for her. We also wanted to shed light on her upcoming retrospective at the Telfair Museum from June 28th-October 13th titled “Suzanne Jackson: Five Decades.”
A DDH DIPA we brewed in collaboration with Charles Towne Fermentory. Citra, German Amarillo and Azacca take the stage, supported by an 8% ABV body slammed with oats and wheat. Super juicy, as requested.
DREAMING IN ORBIT
Ahhhhh. Complex funky sour beer. Our dearest. This beer was brewed with a form of turbid mashing and was fermented in Napa Valley red wine barrels from Groth vineyards with our house mixed culture for many moons. The ripest tangerines and pineapple expressions harmonize with complex citrus brett character and subtle oak.
